Holiday home Hercynia Lodge -
For 1-6 people with sauna and fireplace
Under the term of the Roman historian Tacitus, who impressively described the Harz as early as 58 AD, our "Hercynia Lodge" was built in solid fir wood and using many high-quality materials.
The new holiday home combines a wonderful combination of modern industrial lifestyle with mountain comfort. It offers space for up to 6 people and has an area of 110 m², spread over 2 floors.
In the Hercynia Lodge you are enveloped by a pleasantly warm wood scent that calms your thoughts in a relaxing way.
On the ground floor, next to the spacious wardrobe in the entrance area, there are two bedrooms, each for 2 people. Generous furnishings with a double box spring bed in one and two single box spring beds in the other, as well as solid wood wardrobes and a flat screen TV ensure an absolute feel-good character.
Directly next to the bedrooms is a shower room with toilet and a sink made of natural stone.
In the adjoining, light-flooded living and dining area with fireplace and wood-burning stove, you can float on cuddly, comfortable bean bags (vetsak) in vintage-inspired retro cord as if on clouds and enjoy the crackling fire with a glass of wine.
The kitchen is equipped with everything your heart desires, is finished in matt black and has a light oak-textured worktop. With the modern electric kitchen appliances in retro style, even hobby chefs get their money's worth.
Adjacent to the open living and dining area is the Finnish sauna area, the stylish bathroom with Italian tiled floors, a spacious shower and a natural bluestone washbasin with designer fittings, where you can recharge your batteries with pleasant warmth on cool winter days. There is also a separate toilet available.
From the entrance area a staircase leads to the gallery, with an additional and open living area. Here you can also snuggle up in two cozy bean bags (vetsak), enjoy the beautiful Harz mountains through the panoramic window, or watch your favorite film on the flatscreen TV.
From the living gallery you can reach the third bedroom via a small wooden bridge, which is located in the sloping roof of the house and is spacious and very comfortably furnished with a large double bed, solid wooden wardrobe.
If necessary, we will be happy to provide you with a cot or high chair.
The holiday home also has WiFi 100 Mbit/s, underfloor heating on the ground floor and two associated parking spaces.
A covered terrace with grill, stairs to the garden and an additional inviting lounge set offer space to take in the fresh Harz mountain air to the fullest.
